The OmniCom team based in Durham have come to the rescue of the Ban Wai School football team in Northern Thailand on the Laos border with a shipment of custom made football strips.
Paul Tomlinson, the owner of OmniCom, could not ignore his son Matthew – who had been working as a volunteer English teacher at Ban Wai School – when he called to say that the school football team was in desperate need of suitable strips in time for their next cup competition.
OmniCom swiftly approached one of their clients, Workwear Express, who turned around the strips in double quick time, ready for shipment to Thailand. Following a few hiccups, including delays and extra duties as the strips were seized by customs, the strips finally arrived at their destination and, as you can see from the photograph above, the team are now fully decked out in red and white and looking forward to a successful season ahead!
